Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Regional Transportation Authority (“RTA”) plans to translate a significant volume of its brochures, applications and other documents, and is seeking quotes from highly qualified vendors to provide braille materials within a requested time period of various RTA Mobility Services Department written program documents and customer communications. The requested braille materials will greatly improve the experiences of those who request services from the RTA and who may be blind or visually impaired. The term of the contract is for a one-year base term with two (2) one-year option periods. Option periods shall be exercised solely at the RTA’s discretion. Vendors responding to this solicitation must provide a description of vendor’s standards used for production of braille transcriptions, including turn-around time. RTA’s anticipated service delivery timelines are: Line Item 1 thru 7 – Letter/Document – is of key importance and must have a turn-around time of one (1) to two (2) business days. Line Items 8 – 10 – timelines will vary, but must be completed in a reasonable and timely manner
