Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Illinois State Police intends to procure Non Destructive Testing (NDT) services, and repairs and painting needed as a result of the NDT on a Cessna; Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) NDT must be conducted on the following items in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and/or industry standards: Wing attachment points Gain access to fore and aft wing attach fittings, remove fore and aft wing attach hardware, complete visual and NDT inspection of fastener holes and attach points as applicable for corrosion, cracks, and damage Install new wing attach hardware during reassembly Wing Spars Remove flight controls from wings Gain access to front and rear spars as applicable, complete visual and NDT inspection of spars as applicable for corrosion, cracks, and damage Install new attach hardware during re-assembly Wing Attach Struts Remove left & right wing struts and gain access to attach fittings Complete visual and NDT inspection of wing and strut fittings as applicable for corrosion, cracks, and damage Install new attach hardware during re-assembly Wing Gain access as applicable Complete visual and NDT inspection of wing, wing splice joint and wing root rib as applicable for corrosion, cracks, and damage Complete visual and NDT inspection of aileron and attach points as applicable for corrosion, cracks, and damage Complete visual and NDT inspection of flap, flap track and attach points as applicable for corrosion, cracks, and damage Install new attach hardware during re-assembly Vertical stab Remove rudder for access to rear spar Gain access to the front and rear spar as applicable Gain access to stab attach points Complete visual and NDT inspection of spars and attach points as applicable for corrosion, cracks, and damage Complete visual and NDT inspection of rudder and rudder pedal torque tube as applicable for corrosion, cracks, and damage Install new attach hardware during re-assembly
