Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Division of Clinical and Child Services requires meeting rooms, audio visual services, catering, parking, and lodging for approximately 100 attendees for the Birth Parents Institute meeting. The Birth Parents Institute meeting is a one day working meeting that will focus on bringing Birth Parents together in Cook County that don’t have the opportunity to travel to Springfield for the Birth Parents Summit. On the day of the event providers, guest speakers, panel groups, workshops and exhibitor tables from DCFS and other community organizations share information and provide resources for birth parents and workers. This meeting requires 5 basic conference services: A) meeting rooms, B) catering, C) lodging rooms, D) audio visual services E) parking. Parking at this location shall be included in the pricing for all attendees as either free of charge, “day passes” provided, or parking validation. The Governor’s Travel Board Regulations will govern any person eligible for state paid/reimbursed travel.
