Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall provide specified equipment, with operators and laborers, for the point repair of the sanitary sewer removal and replacement. The Contractor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to fully operate and maintain all equipment necessary to provide for the point repair of the sanitary sewer removal and replacement. The Contractor shall provide the crews for the timely execution of the service contract not to exceed (5) business days from notification to proceed. All hourly manpower rates include the cost of protective clothing, hand tools, supervision, transportation and any other costs. All hourly equipment rates include the cost of the operator, supervision, maintenance, fuel, repairs, overhead, profit, insurance, and any other costs associated with the equipment and personnel. The Contractor shall not move from one designated work area to another designated work area without prior approval from the City of East St. Louis. The Contractor shall conduct the work so as not to interfere with any public utilities or any public right-of ways except as necessary and the repair and replacement of any pavement sections shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. The Contractor shall comply with local, State and Federal Safety and Health Requirements. The Contractor shall possess a City of East St. Louis business license and /or a contractor’s registration (whichever is applicable).
