Specifications include, but are not limited to: Truck Mounted Broom Compatibility with ITD Truck Chassis The Broom will be attached to an ITD owned truck chassis. The truck and installation of the Broom will be provided by ITD, and is not part of this RFQ. In addition to meeting the specifications within this RFQ, the Broom provided by the Contractor must be compatible with ITD’s truck, which is configured as follows. Hydraulic System – ITD’s truck is equipped with a load sensing hydraulic system comprised of the following components: Hydraulic Pump – Axial piston, pressure and flow compensated variable displacement with 4.00 cubic inch (CI) displacement at maximum stroke. Hydraulic Valve – Load-sensing hydraulic valve, manifold design with a 2,500 pounds per square inch (PSI) relief valve. Broom Raise/Lower Section – #10 o-ring ports, proportional solenoid operation with travel limiter, manual override. This valve is a 3-way, 3-position, 10 gallons per minute (GPM) section to operate a single acting cylinder. Broom Left and Right – #10 o-ring ports, solenoid operation with travel limiter, manual override. This valve is a 4-way, 3-position, 10 GPM section to operate plow reverse cylinders. Broom Drive – #10 o-ring ports, proportional solenoid operation, with travel limiter. This valve is a 4-way, 3-position, 20 GPM section. Raise and Swing Controller – An electric proportional control handle to raise and lower or swing left to right with automatic return to neutral and safety lockout. Broom Drive Controller – A microprocessor that is designed for closed loop ground speed control. Broom Description Type – Truck mounted sweeper with hydraulic drive, lift, and angling.
