Specifications include, but are not limited to: · The Mobile Smartphone App, web portal, and associated services must meet HIPAA compliance regulation rules and provide secure communications and secure data management following the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards, · The App must allow video recording and submission (asynchronous encounters) with time and date stamp, · The App must have a built-in instant messaging component but also support Short Message Service (SMS) (i.e., text messaging), · The App must have the functional capability to send automatic medication reminders, SMS and email, to patients, · The App must have the capability to send auto alerts to patients and DOT providers of missed medication doses, · The App must have a HIPAA-compliant web portal accessible by DOT providers to document and review each medication dose recorded via the App, · The App must have the functional capability to export patient treatment records (DOT logs), · The App must allow for an unlimited number of patients and DOT providers, · The App must allow for at least one (1) site/ application administrator to review, verify, and control patient and DOT provider access to the App and web portal.
