Specifications include, but are not limited to: 85,000 sq ft of a geocomposite designed to be used with concrete/shotcrete applications. The geocomposite is to be composed of a top 12oz/yd2 (400 g/m2) polypropylene nonwoven bonded to a 30-mil (0.75) polyethylene geomembrane middle layer which is bonded to a bottom 12oz/yd2 (400 g/m2) polyester nonwoven. The top polypropylene nonwoven is required to be designed for concrete/shotcrete to be placed above in order to resist hydrolysis. The geocomposite will need to be inert to biological degradation and naturally encountered chemicals, alkalies and acids. The geocomposite will need to conform to the nominal values listed in the following table. The geocomposite will be required to come in rolls of 17'wide X 250'long and/or similar widths and lengths and be delivered to the project site labeled with a roll label that indicates manufacturer's name, product identification, lot number, roll number and roll dimensions. All rolls to be wrapped around a 6-inch PVC core and/or equaled to and encased in a sturdy polyethylene wrap to shield the product from rain, dirt, dust and ultraviolet light.
