Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Surrounding shrubs shall be cut or otherwise removed from the job site and disposed of. 2. The trees shall be cut down, the remaining stumps grinded to 6” below grade, and the ground leveled. There must be a certified arborist present during the removal of trees. 3. Tree branches shall be cut and lowered in a manner that will prevent the branches from falling and damaging existing lawns, plantings, pavement, buildings, vehicles, and other property or improvements. 4. Tree cuttings, trimmings, rubbish, fallen branches, leaves, shrubs, debris, and other green waste resulting from the work must be removed from the job site, transported in a manner that prevents spillage, and disposed of at an approved site that meets local ordinances and regulations. 5. Damage caused by the Contractor’s operations, including damages to ground and lawn areas disturbed and damaged by pruning and removal work, shall be restored to the original pre-existing condition to the satisfaction of the Project Contact Person at no additional cost to the State.
