Specifications include, but are not limited to: Implementation at Federally Qualifed Health Centers (FQHCs) in Hawaii who primarily serve the populations targeted by the SBIRT Project. Implementation at small group primary care practices. Implementation at other community public health delivery settings. Inclusion of one or more healthcare/physician associations that would be able to assist with SBIRT site coordination and linkage. ; 25,000 adults statewide need to be screened for alcohol, drugs, and mental health disorders over a period of 1 year, across primary care settings and other community public health delivery settings. Provide technical assistance and training to implement and sustain SBIRT services in healthcare settings across the State. Ensure that steps are taken that support sustainability of universal SBIRT as a standard practice within primary care settings at all levels throughout the state.
