Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide a web-based point of sale (POS) online payment system for six (6) ENV-Refuse Division disposal facilities ; The system must integrate with the existing scale software programs at each disposal site, calculate and assess a fee to the Customer delivering the waste, and accept payment from the Customer. ; To ensure Customers are billed correctly and that the City is able to track the amount of waste delivered by Customer, types and quantities of wastes being disposed at its facilities, the current system records Customer delivery information and organizes it into the following categories. 1. Transaction #/Ticket #/Receipt # 2. Location of disposal facility ; 3. Date and time of delivery 4. Name of company or individual 5. Contact information about the company or individual 6. License plate/vehicle ID/account #/trailer # 7. Net weight of delivered waste 8. Types of waste requiring special handling and any additional fees 9. Scale attendant name/initials/ID 10. Route# (if applicable ; Online Billing System. A. The primary functions of the online billing system is to: Allow Customers delivering waste to the six (6) Refuse Division disposal sites listed in Table 1 above to create an online Customer account and store Customer information, including acceptable forms of electronic payment (e.g. credit card information); Verify the authenticity of the Customer/account-holder, via the Customer’s log-in credentials on an electronic device, upon arrival at disposal site scale house; Receive weight data from the scale software program at these disposal sites; Accurately calculate a fee based on weight and up to twelve other predetermined factors (i.e. account status, fee schedule, etc.); Assess that fee to the account holder.
