Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Service Activities (Minimum and/or mandatory tasks and responsibilities) The contractor must conduct an examination and make every effort to submit a signed narrative report of the findings via fax, the Electronic Records Express (ERE) website or other SSA approved secure electronic communications methods within two weeks of the examination. For information regarding the elements of a complete Consultative Examination and Consultative Examination report content and reporting requirements , please refer to “Consultative Examinations, A Guide for Health Professional” (Green Book). B. Management Requirements (Minimum and/or mandatory requirements) 1. Personnel Medical professionals must be currently licensed in the State and have the training and experience to perform the type of examination or test that the Disability Determination Branch requests. The medical professional must not be barred from participation in Federal or State programs. CE providers may use support staff to help perform the CE. Any such support staff (e.g., X-ray technician, nurse, etc.) must meet appropriate licensing or certification requirements of the State. CE providers must certify that their support staff meet State requirements and have not been sanctioned.
