Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Remove existing 2” of the lawn landscaping. The City shall specify what location of the work in place. 2. Recondition the soil and grade the area to match the existing slopes to the drains in the area. 3. Provide new grates to the existing drain pipes in the specified area. 4. Repair any designated R1 irrigation lines, controls, timers, and sprinkler heads as needed. 5. Install 8,440 square feet (SF) of new sold for the shaded area. The sod shall be St. Augustine or approved substitute. 6. Install pre-emergent herbicide before and after installing the new sod. 7. Install erosion control and protect any drain inlets. 8. Install temporary fencing or barricades around the specified area while under construction. 9. The Contractor must be trained to work on R1 irrigation systems. The Contractor shall be responsible to set up training with the Board of Water Supply (BWS) and submit the completed training documents to the City. A previous certification is acceptable. 10. The Contractor shall maintain the new sod with proper irrigation for a minimum of ninety (90) days, or until the sod is fully established
