Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Call one call center to locate existing utilities within the project area. 2. Prior to the start of construction, the Contractor shall conduct soil contamination testing for hazardous materials/soils contamination. Should contaminants be encountered in the area, the Contractor shall stop work and provide test results to the State of preparation of a mitigation plan before work can resume. 3. Obtain required permits to perform work within the county right of way and applicable permits to install the project. 4. Install BMP requirements per county standards. 5. Install traffic control requirements for one lane closure with flag persons per the MUTCD when installing waterline across Stainback Highway. 6. Trench, connect to existing 6” waterline along Stainback Highway and install new 2 ½” copper lateral per plans.
