Specifications include, but are not limited to: Work includes repair work for the two (2) above ground pre-stressed concrete wastewater storage tanks at the Yellow River Water Reclamation Facility (YRWRF) in Lilburn, Georgia. The tanks were inspected in 2017, and GCDWR has determined that the repairs described herein are required to maintain/enhance the performance and life of the tanks. Included in the Work are: 1) Alterations to tank foundations and bearing pad at perimeter of tanks to increase drainage and improve aesthetics. Alterations include removal of excess bearing pad and existing injection ports, removal of cementitious bearing pad cover material, and saw-cutting drainage grooves in the foundation where necessary to provide drainage; 2) Chemical grout injection of cracks in foundation of Tank 2, the perimeter at wall/foundation joint of both tanks, at manholes, and at manhole perimeters; 3) Repair spalled and/or cracked concrete at both tanks; and 4) Seal injection ports in tank walls.
