Specifications include, but are not limited to: The WAN connection between the Primary Campus and each remote location may not transverse the public internet. Only central office/meet point connectivity is allowed. The WAN service shall use layer 2 switching to interconnect campus locations. WAN bandwidth should be at least what is specified in the table above. Circuits will be synchronous. All connections shall be given unique identification numbers and shall be tied to a unique customer number for the college. Availability and uptime should meet a minimum guaranteed uptime of 99.95% with 24/7/365 monitoring, and a maximum of 4 hours response time for service outage. All connections shall have the same support phone number to call for service outages. Technical expertise is required. Support must be available via phone on a 24/7/365 basis.
