The system must be able to: Concurrent Users Must provide for a minimum of 10 concurrent users. Stand-alone Operate as a stand-alone solution or seamlessly integrate with various back office systems of record (i.e. financial, ERP, MES, Quality Systems) Be Flexible Able to interface and integrate with not only scales and data collection devices, but with shipping couriers and automated material handling systems. Interface Interface directly with PLCs, scales, and sensors directly, permitting us to gather information without any human intervention. Support Data Collection Technologies Support 1D, 2D, and all frequencies of RFID technology. Interact with any of these technologies individually or simultaneously. Order Planning & Scheduling Manage the scheduling and picking of orders. Also direct the picker to an alternate location and designate the pick route depending upon the layout of your warehouse Unit of Measure Conversion Convert Units of Measure (may receive product in pounds, but you issue in ounces) Location Management / Slotting Advise on where items should be stored within the warehouse to optimize capacity and increase efficiency Inventory Allocation Allocate inventory for orders received with notification of need to reorder/replenish stock levels Shelf Life Monitoring Manage the shelf life of an item (based off the receipt date) even if the item is not lot controlled and apply FIFO (first in / first out) or FEFO (first expiry / first out) rules. Lot & Serial Number Tracking Be capable of Lot tracking and serial number tracking Cartonization Able to recognize stock can be held in pallets, cartons, units, etc.
