Specifications include, but are not limited to: Emergency lighting shall be on it's own shop drawing and clearly identified. The apparatus shall be equipped with a Hale Q-Max 1250 GPM pump, panel on drivers side. Pump seal shall be Packing type. An air type primer is desired. Trident brand preferred. Hose bed should have 2 separators, and hold 1500' of 3" hose, split load and 200' of 2 1/2" hand line. Construction type shall be identified. Aluminum preferred. The cab size shall be identified, and compared to any other standard offerings. Medium, 12" raised roof preferred. Canopy windows on the raised roof are not desired. There should be 3 windows on each side, both doors and 1 in between, The poly water tank should hold at least 750 gallons. Tank level lights should be high on the cab, on both sides. Class 1 brand Intelli-tank preferred. This is in addition to pump panel level indicator. Hosebed and cross lay covers shall be red. Black not acceptable. There shall be 3 cross lays plumbed for 1.5" discharge. There shall be one 2.5" discharge on the rear of the truck on the drivers side. Both sides of the truck shall have two 2.5" discharges, terminated to 45 degree male threads. Stacked chrome reducer caps shall be on the discharges, 2.5" to 1.5" Deck gun discharge shall be plumbed to dunnage area w an Extend-o-gun installed. Identify the deck gun make and model. Identify all provided nozzles. (Fog and Straight) Color coded discharges shall be determined by the customer. Intakes on each side shall be 6". A booster reel shall be on the drivers side dunnage area. Booster hose shall be 3/4" and 200 feet. Tank fill hinged cover access to be on drivers side forward. Hose rollers shall be on each side of the truck for booster hose. A separate shop drawing shall show the pump panel layout in detail. No hard suction hose is desired. Both sides shall have coffin style compartments where suction hose is usually mounted. Full height with hinged tread plate doors on top. Identify dimensions.
