Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Fire & EMS Department, of the Columbus Consolidated Government, is seeking a cloud-based software solution to facilitate: Employee Time Entry, Shift Scheduling, and other functions. The cloudbased staffing software solution must be compatible, or have the ability to integrate, with Image Trend, which is the existing records management system (RMS). The cloud-based staffing software solution chosen shall meet these key objectives: A. Employee Time Entry Allow the employees to enter their availability B. Scheduling Shifts Be able to create and fill schedules based on the employee availability, hours worked, etc. Be able to manage rosters and schedules electronically Be able to view schedules in different views to include Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Pay Period views Be able to add special event and extra shift schedules Have a pre-configured schedule of 24/48 The employees need to be able to view and sign-up for open shifts Approvals can be manual or automatic C. Scheduling/Tracking Overtime Be able to see which employees can be scheduled without exceeding department overtime limits Be able to get alerts when someone is scheduled for overtime Be able to track a rotating overtime list for future overtime scheduling D. Shift Swaps Employees are able to swap shift with other employees Be able to ensure the shift swap guideline if adhered to Shift supervisor ability to approve shift swaps Battalion Chief automatically notified when a shift swap has been scheduled E. Compliance Ensure Union, FLSA, and internal compliance Be able to ensure fairness and transparency F. Licensing 384 users and 2 administrators
