Specifications include, but are not limited to: •Removal of existing paving•Coordination with the Central Services Department and the 911 director for site access, scheduling and other logistics involved in completion of the work•Placement of a new 2” layer of compacted asphalt paving material over the existing stone base.•Submittals on asphalt paving mix•Removal and reinstallation of parking bumpers and any signage removed to accommodate the work•Striping of parking spaces•Repair of any obvious deficiencies in the compacted stone base.•All temporary traffic control and safety measures•Safety measures to protect workers and the public•All required permits, insurance and bonds•Project close-out and warranties•All materials, equipment and labor required to execute the work•All work is to be completed in accordance with the specifications and notes included on Construction Plan Drawings. Please note these drawings shall be used to describe the processes, standards, materials and details for the work, and not the limits of construction. The limits of construction are described inthe Construction Plans.•Contractor shall warrant their work to be free from defects for a period of 12 month from the date of acceptance by the owner.
