Specifications include, but are not limited to: ervices shall include, but are not limited to, development plan reviews, preparation of plans, studies, permit applications, specifications, sketches, cost projections, reports, presentations, assessments, project construction coordination and oversight, engineering support for existing sewer plants, etc., as specified and agreed to for each approved project. All design work shall be completed using AutoCad. The consultant will develop projects from concept through permitting design and construction. The consultant will be expected to assist Barrow County with procurement of potential funding, EPD approval, and other items that may be required to get the projects constructed to include surveying and easement acquisition. Capital cost estimates will be required early during the project development stages to allow the County to plan for the capital resources needed for the sewer development. The consultant may be requested to participate in the Comprehensive Plan update to better define the sewer needs for the land use plans that are developed. The consultant should be familiar with preparing such documents as O&M Manuals, etc. In addition to the types of projects described, anticipated projects included for this term are as follows. • Updating wastewater development standards (last update 2008) • Updating GIS shapefiles of gravity sewer system (last update 2008) • Utility relocation projects associated with GDOT projects • Develop plan to address inflow/infiltration in gravity sewer system • Other projects as assigned
