Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County expects the Offeror to provide all the software components necessary for a fully functioning and integrated SACRC Solution. The software provided may all be products of the Offeror or a combination of the Offeror’s products and those of subcontractors. The level of integration between major system components will be a proposal evaluation factor. The County anticipates that in a proposed solution with components from different sources, the Offeror will act as the system integrator and be responsible for overall implementation, any internal interfaces required, testing, training, and maintenance support of the complete Solution. As outlined in this RFP, the County’s desire and expectation is that the proposed solution, including any subcontractor applications, will be best-of-breed and highly configurable. Gwinnett County anticipates selecting the SACRC Solution that meets the optimal number of its functional specifications with standard system functionality at the best value for the County. A highly configurable and best-of-breed system implementation will: • Shorten the time required to implement the solution • Eliminate the cost and implementation issues caused by system customization • Simplify system upgrades and ongoing cost for modifications to custom features. The proposed solution is to be sized to meet the performance standards for the projected volumes plus future growth provisions up to 100 percent of the system storage needs. All proposed software versions must be the latest software version that is available AND operational in multiple live environments. The module version for each proposed module must be identified within the Offeror’s responses. 5.3 Cybersecurity / Ransomware Protection The County requires that the Offerors proposed SACRC Solution include protection against service disruption caused by ransomware, in addition to the traditional Continuity of Business provisions. Such protection could use a tired replication model where the third-tier synchronization lags behind the near real-time replication of the lower tiers. Alternatively, the approach could also include using an off-line Disaster Recovery model. The Offeror is responsible for providing detailed responses to Interrogatories in Section 12.8 – Cybersecurity / Ransomware Protection
