Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Panic Bar system is designed to provide operators a dedicated stop mechanism for the feed system independent of the feed control bar. The fluorescent green Panic Bar extends on three sides to always be positioned between the operators feeding material and the feed system, plus an added extension to provide observers in front of the feed chute a means of stopping the system. The design also incorporates a lock out into the device to prevent unintended re- activation. The trailer frame and all cross members shall be constructed of structural steel tubing for rigidity and strength. Frames shall be completely welded utilizing fixtures, to insure exact tolerances and a unitized construction. The frame shall include an integrated tow bar. It shall also include rear jack points that allow the jackstand to be mounted and assist in jacking up the chipper in case of a tire issue. The tow bar shall be integrated into the trailer frame with a pintle ring bolted to a 1 inch thick face plate. The tow bar shall incorporate an electric safety break-away switch. The chipper shall have two DOT approved safety chains constructed and approved safety hooks. The trailer shall be equipped with a standard six prong wiring harness that is D.O.T. approved. The 12 volt tail light package shall have LED lighting; all connections shall be ultrasonically spliced. The wiring shall be wrapped with a non- corrosive, abrasion resistant shielded loom.
