Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Site Survey Work: Site survey work required to document existing conditions of any and all airside and/or, hydronic HVAC systems, including their controls and any supporting ancillary systems (i.e.: windows, doors, insulation etc) in a given facility, as directed by DOA‐P&D.; B. Verification Work: Verification of the proper operation of existing HVAC system components and identification of any equipment, controls, actuators, etc which are not fully functional and which need repair before any TAB work can begin.; C. TAB Work: TAB of any systems, or facility, as identified by DOA‐P&D. This can include the Pre TAB of existing operating conditions of a given HVAC system to find variances from design conditions or the setting of benchmark conditions where no current design data is available. It can also include TAB services to validate the meeting of design conditions for a newly installed system, or to validate DOA‐P&D specified criteria for existing facilities as well as verifying that a new addition or modification to an existing HVAC system has not adversely impacted the previous operating parameters of the original portion of said system.; D. Diagnostic Work: Diagnostic Support of Engineering investigation work for systems not meeting their intended design criteria. This work will include any actions required to aid in determining the condition of the control and ancillary support systems related to the HVAC system that can also hinder the overall system performance. (i.e. checking damper linkage connections, actuator stroke functionality, insulation condition, control sensor calibration and feedback loop verification shall be investigated and reported). The TAB contractorshall also recommend remedial action as appropriate for issues found during diagnostic field surveys.
