Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Project consists of the construction of a new 2 story, 61,600 sf Technology Classroom Building and associated Parking Lot at a New Campus for Coastal Pine Technical College in Kingsland Georgia off May Creek Road and along a newly developed Centerfield Blvd. The project has been designed with shallow foundations, structural steel framing with a combination of cmu back-up walls and cold formed metal stud infill exterior framing. The exterior envelope is a combination of brick veneer, stucco, and metal panel cladding with a single-ply membrane roof. The site is a virgin 20 Acre site with a full stand of trees except for the portion of the newly developed access road. A portion of the property has a certified section of wetlands, however, this area is outside of the clearing and building area and poses no impact to the construction other than the protection of the area. The project will include a sanitary sewer lift station on the site and a force main to be tied to city sanitary system off-site. This project site was master planned for a second future building of the same size and footprint as well as an expansion of the parking lot in the future.
