Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Draining the pool and refilling will be done through the main drains • Sound test the entire pool for delaminated areas and remove all delaminated plaster as required • Remove and/or lift play station footer covers to prep and re-marcite to anchor base • Remove all pool equipment and play station components that cover over existing marcite • Prepare footer covers and supports for re-painting all under the water line (repaint with Tnemec type paint or as play structure manufacturer recommends); color to be approved by the County • Remove and/or scarify existing marcite surface of wading pool to prepare for marcite • Saw cut out any cracks in the pool and apply a structural epoxy material • Saw cut plaster adjacent to all tiles, around main drains and returns and chip back plaster (1”-2”) to ensure minimum 3/8” plaster thickness throughout the entire pool • Remove and reinstall existing defective water line tile and around skimmers, install matching tile NOTE: Before plastering pool the County will inspect with the Pool Company present to approve all prep work • Apply Kover Krete Pre-Kote system or Multi-Coat 2000 bond coat system or equal product acceptable by County • Apply white plaster mix (minimum 3/8” thick) and trowel to a smooth finish. Plaster mix will be a 3 to 5 ratio, Portland to pool mix marble • Minimum warranty on material and workmanship 1 year • Re-install play structure, slides, panels, and footers • County will maintain proper water chemistry for 30 days • County will brush pool for approximately 2-3 weeks to ensure proper curing of new plaster; the pH will be maintained at 7.0-7.2 for the first 30 days • All material is guaranteed to be as specified • All work to be completed in a workman like manner according to standard practices • Any alterations or deviations from the specifications involving extra costs shall be done by written order • Selected vendor must clean the work area of trash and debris at the end of each work day • Selected vendor is responsible for securing the work area at the end of each work day • Any damage to County property to include but not limited to main pool deck, fencing, vegetation, etc. caused by the selected vendor will be repaired and/or restored to its original condition • Selected vendor must adhere to all local, state, and federal rules, regulations, and laws • Selected vendor is responsible to obtain any permits and licenses required to complete the project • Selected vendor will begin within 10 days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed
