Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Medical Grade Oxygen a. All Medical Grade Oxygen cylinders shall be properly classified, described, packaged, marked, labeled, and in proper condition for transportation according to the applicable regulation of the Department of Transportation. b. Medical Grade Oxygen furnished shall be as described in the applicable Commodity Specifications of the Compressed Gas Association, Inc.: Medical Oxygen, A (99.0% minimum) CGA SPEC-G c. Vendor shall be responsible for refilling of cylinders, repairs, and testing that conform to applicable sections of the NFPA standards and OSHA, EPA, and FDA guidelines. 2. "D" Size Cylinder a. Each “D” size oxygen cylinder shall be “EMS STANDARD and of aluminum construction; arrive ready to use with an integrated valve, (Walk-O-Bout). b. Each “D” size cylinder shall contain 415 liters of oxygen with a top output 25 lpm (maximum) and a low output of .25 lpm (minimum). 3. "M" Size Cylinder a. Each “M” size oxygen cylinder shall be of steel construction and contain 3,198 liters (minimum). b. Each “M” size oxygen cylinder shall have a customary connection to ambulance regulators.
