Specifications include, but are not limited to: Furnishing all products and performing all labor necessary for the construction of a new effluent pipe and diffuser into Lake Lanier. This will include approximately 653 LF of a combination of 36” inch HDPE and ductile iron pipe. The pipe will be laid below grade down to elevation 1050 where it will then transition to placement on the lake bottom and connect to the HDPE diffuser pipe placed along the lake bottom, approximately 70 feet below the water surface. The diffuser pipe is 360 feet long with 35 4-inch diameter ports extending outward into the lake at various angles. The diffuser pipe will be anchored to the lake bottom using concrete pipe collars at intervals to support the pipe and provide the necessary ballast to prevent flotation. The existing effluent pipe and diffuser must remain in operation until the new effluent pipe and diffuser are in service: after which the existing effluent pipe and diffuser will be abandoned in place
