Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Refer to the campus maps attachment for the key to the specific areas. During the mandatory pre‐bid, we will tour the Cochran campus and will review each campus map, as well as the work required for them. Please bring a copy of the maps with you to the meeting to reference. Although it is not mandatory, vendors may visit the Dublin and Eastman campuses on their own, but must coordinate the Eastman visit with the Director of Facilities Operations or his designee. 2. In all areas on the Cochran campus, litter will be removed a minimum of once per day, five days per week, and before each mowing. High use areas may dictate more frequent removal, which will be communicated by the Director of Facilities Operations to the Contract Management Agent. For the Dublin and Eastman campuses, litter will be removed weekly. 3. In all areas, Contractor must reseed or re‐sod turf when bare spots are present, as determined by the Director of Facilities Operations and communicated to the Contract Management Agent. 4. In all areas, leaves will be maintained through mulching, bagging or blowing. 5. Tree limbs, sticks, and debris will be picked up and removed from all grounds in all areas as needed. 6. Shrubbery will be pruned at least once per season, as specified by the Director of Facilities Operations, unless species planted dictate more frequent attention. Sculptured hedges or high‐growth species dictate a more frequent requirement than most trees and shrubs in natural‐growth plantings. All trimming of shrubs must be discussed with and approved by the Director of Facilities Operations. 7. Lower tree limbs in all areas will be pruned as needed to provide safety of visual clearance, as approved by the Director of Facilities Operations. Sucker growths will be removed and trees will be pruned to maintain form of plant. All trimming of trees must be discussed with and approved by the Director of Facilities Operations. 8. The campuses will be kept free of fire ants and other pests. Treatment will be as needed. Callbacks should be factored into the bid and should not result in an additional cost. 9. All parking lots and sidewalks will be blown weekly on all campuses, but may be needed more frequently if requested by Director of Facilities Operations. 10. Required Level of Maintenance: a. Cochran ‐ Grass in areas A will be mowed weekly from April through September, and as needed in remaining months. Dublin – Area A is mowed weekly year round Eastman – Area A is mowed weekly from April through September, biweekly from October – March (39 total site visits per year) b. Cochran ‐ Grass in Area B, C and F will be mowed twice a month from April through September, and as needed in remaining months. Dublin – Area B will be mowed weekly from April through September and bi‐ weekly October – March. c. Grass in area D (except Soccer Field‐E) will be mowed as needed, but no more than 2 times a month. (Area E is mowed by coaches and is not mowed under this contract; however, it is included in the Athletic Field schedule, pages 8‐10.) d. For all campuses, aeration will be on an annual basis. e. Weekly edging of curbs, sidewalks and driveways in area A will be maintained the whole year. Debris will be removed and cleared from these areas on a weekly basis. f. Semi‐monthly edging of curbs, sidewalks and driveways in area B and C will be maintained the whole year. Debris will be removed and cleared from these areas on a weekly basis. g. All bed areas in area A will be maintained in a neat and clean manner, free of weeds. They will be edged and trimmed weekly from March ‐ October and as needed during other months.
