Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project will be an Agriculture Facility to house poultry science, horticulture, animal science and livestock management, fish and wild life management, and food science. The existing campus architectural integrity (scale, materials and style) is to be maintained. The academic program will include the following requirements: • Poultry Science- Incubator and poultry processing area • Horticulture Program- Vegetable production area and a greenhouse • Animal Science and Livestock Management- High bay arena and stalls primarily for cattle, goats, sheep and pigs. Seating (primarily portable) for exhibition and demonstration purposes with a catering kitchen and café/lunch area to be used in conjunction with the arena. The kitchen will not be used for preparing food; rather it will be used to prepare catered cooked food for serving. • Fish and Wild Life Management- Small storage facility at adjacent pond • Classrooms and Support Areas- There will be a minimum of 6 classrooms and up to 4 computer labs. Other priorities are a large meeting room, additional campus parking, and adequate restroom facilities for public events.
