Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Georgia Building Authority (GBA or Authority), considered the “Owner” for this solicitation, is seeking proposals from design-build teams interested in providing an economically designed, construction and delivery of a new approximate five story (4 above ground) 500+ space state of the visitor parking deck. The new parking deck will be located directly west of the Courtland Street SE Bridge and north of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in downtown Atlanta (see Exhibit 13). Currently there is a surface lot on part of the proposed area. Preliminarily location of the project shall be the existing Steve Polk Plaza surface parking lot located at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, SE and Courtland Street. A design criteria, existing site conditions and property boundaries projects that the successful design-build team will construct a parking structure with a footprint of approximately 125’ X 300’. Total budget for the work shall not exceed $9 Million.
