Specifications include, but are not limited to: Replacing existing water lines with approximately 9,900 linear feet of 8-inch diameter ductile iron pipe in three (3) residential areas in the City of Dacula and the installation of approximately 1,400 linear feet of new 16-inch diameter ductile iron pipe along Harbins Road between McMillan Road and Harbin Oaks Drive. The project also consists of the abandonment of various 6-inch asbestos concrete water lines and 6-inch and 4-inch cast iron water lines along Harbins Road between Sanjo Street and McMillan Road and the abandonment of an in-line booster pump station along Harbins Road. Work also includes approximately 105 linear feet of 16-inch diameter steel cased jack and bore, approximately 8,000 square yards of asphalt milling and repaving, water main disinfection, connection of all existing water services to the new water mains, relocation of approximately 31 water meters, installing new water main valves and fire hydrants, salvaging existing fire hydrants, curb and gutter restoration, driveway cut restoration, exploratory excavations, disturbed area restoration, erosion and sediment control, traffic control, preparation of record drawings, and all related appurtenances as shown on the drawings or specified.
