Specifications include, but are not limited to: The proposed project is a state of the art 200,000 GSF facility. The proposed building is envisioned to be a multi-level facility with an elegant presence and which will serve as a destination for university and community patrons. Building massing and composition will utilize site topography. Exterior design will encompass a skillful blend of brick masonry, stone, metal and glass to create a facility that is visually appealing and efficient to operate. This facility will provide appropriate indoor space to meet its current and future assembly/event needs. In addition to a large multi-purpose arena with a seating capacity of 8,000, the facility will celebrate its flexibility by hosting athletic events, convocations, commencements, conferences, concerts and other major events on a scale reflective of the University’s national and international stature in learning and research.
