Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1 The Provider shall meet federal guidelines and Adult Drug Court and Treatment Standards established by the Judicial Council of Georgia’s Standing Committee for Accountability Courts as specified in Exhibit A, Judicial Council of Georgia’s Standards for Accountability Courts. 3.2 The Provider shall have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the field of substance abuse, knowledge of the criminal justice system, and an understanding of the Drug Court/Accountability Court concept. 3.3 The Provider must have a physical facility within Clayton County, Georgia in which to provide services. 3.4 The Provider must have at minimum of three (3) dedicated and qualified staff members to serve as outpatient treatment Providers for the Clayton County Adult Felony Drug Court. 3.5 The Provider shall follow drug testing policies and procedures adopted by the Clayton County Adult Felony Drug Court. 3.6 The services delivered by the Treatment Provider shall meet the minimum standards for providing substance abuse treatment services set forth by the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD). 3.7 As required by state law (O.C.G.A. §37-7-2), The Providers offering services at American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) Level III or higher must be licensed by DBHDD’s Office of Regulatory Services as a drug abuse treatment program. 3.8 The Lead Counselor shall be a Licensed Professional Counselor with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in alcohol and drug counseling, to include 3000 hours of direct client contact and a minimum of two (2) years documented experience providing alcohol and drug supervision.
