Specifications include, but are not limited to: Modifications, renovations, and improvements of the Public Restrooms and Common Areas for the Justice and Government Center Complexes include, but are not limited to, fixtures, flooring, walls, ceilings and some areas of lighting. The County would like to renovate the Public Restrooms in both Complexes so that they can comply, as much as practical, with the 2010 ADA Standards requirements. • The County would like to refresh the finishes in the Common Areas of both Complexes so that there is some continuity of color schemes and materials. • The selected A/E Design Firm shall provide expertise, resources, and personnel with experience in planning, surveying, designing, and construction administration of this type of project. • The A/E Design Firm shall review and analyze the ADA deficiency report performed by Fulton County, and develop a Condition Assessment (walls, floors, ceilings, plumbing fixtures, toilet partitions and accessories, lighting, etc.) of the public restrooms and common areas of the Justice and Government Complexes. The A/E Design Firm shall prepare and submit the Condition Assessment Report with their findings including multiple recommendations and suggestions for correction. • The Project shall be designed within the County’s established Budget and Schedule. • The County has hired a Program Management Team (PMT) to oversee, monitor, and direct the A/E Design Firm for this contract. The PMT will review and provide comment on the Report and Design submittals. • The A/E Design Firm shall confirm with authorities having jurisdiction over the project to make certain the Design meets applicable codes and industry standards.
