Specifications include, but are not limited to: Replace damaged or missing sound barrier wall components along I-285 clockwise with new material per Construction Details N-1A, N-1B, N-2, N-3, & N-4. All work shall be performed in accordance with the GDOT Standard Specs – section 624, Qualified Products List (QPL) sections 42 & 53, and Construction Details N-1A, N-1B, N-2, N-3, & N-4. Trimming of overhanging trees and/or the removal of vegetation is not required unless necessary to repair sound barrier wall components. Any ground disturbance, such as equipment track marks or similar, is to be repaired or regrassed with bermuda at no additional cost to the Department. The contractor shall also remove all graffiti within the project limits per section 42 of the QPL. The contractor shall be responsible for submitting their Traffic Interruption Reports (T.I.Rs), calling in their TIRs, and calling out their TIRs for the proposed project. Any Sound Barrier Wall panels, flashing, posts, and/or angle irons damaged during repair activities are to be replaced with new material at the contractor’s expense. The contractor will submit weekly accomplishments.
