Specifications include, but are not limited to: Inspect/Test/Repair: Regular inspection costs are to include items such as miscellaneous supplies (i.e., lubricants, shop towels, test weights, vehicle usage, etc.). Replacement parts shall be invoiced separately. The periodic services as set forth in this agreement will be performed every ninety (90) days. When applicable, two (2) of the quarterly inspections shall be coordinated with F.G.I.S. Scale Certification. Regular inspections should be performed one (1) day in advance of F.I.G.S. Certification and should consist of jacking up weight bridge, disassembling lever system, cleaning all parts, greasing, and reassembling as needed. Type of scale, manufacturer, model and serial number of weight indicator and printer, location, and type of inspection required are shown on Attachment A. This information must be reported after each inspection, as well as a description of inspection and testing performed and general condition of scale. The contractor is to attach and make part of RFQ, inspection and testing procedures. Procedures are to specify “normal” adjustments and preventive maintenance to be performed at each regular inspection. When the condition of a scale is such that normal adjustment will not restore accuracy, the successful contractor will be required to notify the designated GPA Maintenance Representative of the extent of repairs and submit cost estimates for approval prior to any repairs. The contractor shall submit a copy of their proposed inspection checklist for each type of equipment.
