Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Contract is to provide the annual Occupational Health & Safety Administration (OSHA) compliance Inspections and Certifications for twenty (20) overhead cranes and forty {40) jib cranes located throughout the MARTA system. After each inspection is complete, the Contractor shall provide MARTA's Contract Services Coordinator or his/her designee with a list of items that need repair work. The locations of the cranes are listed in Exhibit A-1. 2. The crane type, repair work to be performed, part numbers of parts to be replaced/repaired, crane serial number(s) and crane location(s) shall be provided to the Contract Services Coordinator or his/her designee for approval prior to the performance of the work. II. Inspection Schedules: 1. A written schedule for all activities must be submitted to the Contract Services Coordinator or his/her designee within five (5) days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. MARTA will approve or disapprove of the schedule within three (3) days of receipt. Work shall not begin until the schedule is approved. 2. Written inspection reports shall be made for all inspections. All defects, and or problems found during this work shall be noted in inspection reports forwarded to MARTA's Contract Coordinator within (5) days from completion of the inspections. Verbal reports shall also be given for any problems or defects considered to be an emergency or urgent; and shall be given the day such problems or defects are found. 3. Recommendation reports shall be given to the Authority for all items found during the inspections that do not meet the recommended standards set forth in the following: • OSHA {Occupational Health & Safety Administration) • ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) • CMMA {Crane Manufactures Association of America) • ANIS (American National Standard Institute) 4. Deficiency Reports shall be given to the Authority for all items found during the inspections that do not meet the mandatory requirements of the standards set forth in the OSHA, ASME, ANSI & CMAA Codes. All reports shall state deficiencies found, and note the code, section, page, paragraph and code that is violated.
