Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Cherokee County School District is seeking a campus emergency alert/panic solution that is designed to enable CCSD faculty and staff to immediately notify administrative staff, security personnel and/or authorities of an emergency. The solution being sought is a lightweight, wearable, pendant or badge that is convenient to use/access in the event of an emergency and which will provide “panic button” type functionality. Accompanying software will allow management of the devices and will include the ability to determine as-close-to-realtime-as-possible, the location - within the facility or on the grounds of the complex - of the individual activating the device. Additional software features would include battery life and health and device connectivity. The successful vendor will provide initial costs and continuing costs over a five-year period for a complete turn-key system.
