Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Respond to all calls, without delay, with the closest available unit dispatched through the Augusta 911 Center. All response times, measured in seconds and not whole minutes, shall be calculated starting at the moment the Contractor receives the dispatch until the time the Contractor arrives on scene with a fully-functional and fully-staffed ALS ambulance. 2. Staff ambulances with at least one (1) state-certified Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMTP) and one (1) state-certified Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) or above on all responses. All of Contractor’s personnel shall be certified by the State of Georgia. 3. Submit a daily staffing roster to the Augusta Fire Department EMS Coordinator no later than thirty (30) minutes after the start of a shift. The roster must be updated as changes are made. 4. Provide state certified ALS-equipped ambulances for all Augusta responses. Supervisory staff, in chase cars (SUVs) shall not be utilized as a primary ambulance on any calls or used to determine response times.
