This project is comprised of construction of the connecting piece of road between the St Johns Heritage Parkway (SJHP) and Babcock Street. The project scope therefore includes: striping modifications along Babcock, signage, drainage features (including swales and piping), and approximately five hundred feet of the St Johns Heritage Parkway beginning from the matchline on the SJHP around STA 13006+00 extending and connecting to Babcock Street per the provided plans. Additional project construction elements include: pre-construction video of existing conditions, asphalt paving, striping, embankment placement and compaction, placing and compacting virgin road-base and stabilized sub-base material, dewatering, erosion and sedimentation control, sodding, installation of stormwater culvert pipes and inlet boxes, sign installations, delivery of excess suitable excavated materials to the Public Works facility, clearing and grubbing to include removal of existing temporary driveway and pipe, utility adjustment coordination, mobilization, maintenance of traffic, testing, permit compliance, and as-built survey.
