Specifications include, but are not limited to:The scope of works consists of the construction of a new Maintenance and Storage Facility for use by the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD). Included as part of the Project will be the construction of a Maintenance and Storage Building encompassing approximately 115,000 square feet, and consisting of a high-bay area housing maintenance and storage bays, flanked by two (2) 2-story structures intended to house warehousing, repair shops and an administrative office component located on the 2nd level of the Shops Building. In addition to the Maintenance and Storage Building, the Project also includes, but is not limited to, construction of a 3-story / 420 vehicle parking structure for use by WASD staff assigned to the Facility, as well as a fueling island intended to serve WASD and other County owned vehicles, installation of a 1,500 KW and a 60 KW diesel generator, complete with aboveground fuel tanks, complete site development, construction of exterior storage areas, construction of asphalt and concrete pavement areas for heavy equipment parking, interior site roads along with all related grading and drainage, site lighting, fencing, landscaping and irrigation for the proposed site. The work is located and will be constructed on vacant WASD owned land at 19000 S.W. 108th Avenue, South Miami Heights, Florida 33157.
