Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Fort Myers is seeking licensed and qualified Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) consultants to prepare construction documents for design of the proposed John Yarbrough Linear Park Multi-Use Trail Extension (JYLPMTE) project, pursuant to recommendations from the City approved Feasibility Study phase and requirements of the Florida Shared-use Non-motorized Trail Grant Agreement between the City of Fort Myers and Florida Department of Transportation. FDOT Project #440341-1-34-01. Located within the City of Fort Myers and unincorporated Lee County, the John Yarbrough Linear Park Multi-Use Trail (JYLPMT) is an existing, non-motorized transportation and recreation corridor, currently extending approximately 6 miles, from Six Mile Cypress Parkway to Colonial Boulevard. When completed, the JYLPMT Extension is envisioned to be a 12-foot wide, 1.8-mile long, shared-use trail, suitable for a wide range of non-motorized transportation and recreation activities, such as bicycling, walking, and rollerblading.
