Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Demolition and Site Clearance of the two-story townhouse; 2. Weatherizing and reinforcing of the wall and roof of the adjoining unit ; including all applicable engineering and building permits. The remaining interior wall of the adjoining unit must meet the local and state building code for an exterior wall of a residential structure, and all work must be done in compliance with all applicable laws regulating construction and zoning. 3. The contractor shall be responsible for removing and capping underground utilities at the property line or meter location. Relocation of electrical service/meter box/weather head may also be required. 4. The contractor shall be responsible for protecting adjacent property; including the repairing/restoring of any damage caused by the demolition/renovation of the subject property. 5. The contractor shall ensure the remaining structure(s) are left in a structurally sound condition free to stand on its own and weather tight.
