Specifications include, but are not limited to: The services sought under this RFP are generally described as follows: The Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department seeks proposals for a licensee to manage and provide programming at Russell B Cook Jr Community Center. Management and programming should reflect of community needs and for the benefit of the neighborhood and community. Programming may include, but not limited to, education, music, arts, social services, health, wellness, nutrition for all ages and/or youth athletic activities, generally mentor youth from all walks of life, enhance youth self-esteem, develop teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership and life skills. Organizations demonstrating the ability to provide programming and public access consistent with community needs will be preferred. The selected partner must include public access and public facility rentals on weekends. Facility rentals will be administered and supervised by City of Jacksonville person. This will not be a revenue-generating bid.
