The PAEC Florida Buy program is seeking a source/s for factory-built buildings for schools and other public uses that meet or exceed the standards set by the Florida Department Education State Requirements for Educational Facilities, Florida Building Codes and other applicable codes and standards required by the State of Florida for public use buildings. Many factory-built buildings on school campuses are used for portable classrooms. Because portable classrooms tend to become long-term units on a school campus, PAEC Florida Buy desires top-of-the-line factory-built buildings with a long-life cycle and meets or exceeds the proficiencies required by state statute (Florida Statute Chapter 553, Building Construction Standards). Contractors should offer a variety, or catalog, of options for schools, government buildings, colleges, non-profit organizations, and other eligible entities.
