Description

The intent of this Solicitation is to contract with a Rental Company (RC) to rent Portable Changeable Message Signs (PMCS)

These Specifications describe (PCMS) for the purpose of an “as needed” multi-year rental award.

The PCMS units are intended to be used along the rights of way in Pasco County to inform motorists of various planned and unplanned events and/or roadway conditions and traffic control.

The unit(s) shall be trailer mounted, equipped with solar panels as a primary power source and include a battery back-up.

Unit(s) furnished to this Specification shall be appropriate for this intended use, adhere to the requirements of Sections 2L and 6F.60 of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devises (MUTCD) and meet the requirements herein.
