Hernando County, Florida (“County”) invites interested Proposers/Contractors to submit their Qualifications to provide construction services as a licensed Contractor for projects with a value of $200,000.00 or less.

1. The County will approve qualified Proposers/Contractors through a selection committee to form a basis of Proposers/Contractors to request Quotes on an as needed basis.
2. The County will have four (4) categories of qualified Proposers/Contractors.
3. Proposers/Contractors who are qualified in more than one category shall submit their qualifications for each category under this RFQ.
4. The County intends to award to multiple Proposers/Contractors for each category and may choose the same Proposer/Contractor for more than one (1) category.
5. The County will provide a Request for Quote (example in this RFQ as Exhibit “B”) to qualified Proposers/Contractors awarded in the applicable section for projects that are estimated under $200,000.00 based on the scope of services provided for each project.  The Proposers/Contractors shall respond to the Quote accepting the terms and conditions of this RFQ.  The Proposer/Contractor who provides the lowest Quote shall receive a Work Authorization (example in this RFQ as Exhibit “A”) for execution by County and Contractor.
6. Projects that are not funded in whole by Hernando County will not qualify for this Pre-Qualifications Contract and shall be formally bid out separately.
