Description

Hernando County Board of County Commissioners is soliciting Vendor/Contractors that are active in asphalt paving over new limerock material and over existing road base.
This project consists of the construction of asphalt paving over new limerock material and over existing road base. The scope of this project also includes saw cutting existing pavement for asphalt tie-ins, installation and maintenance of erosion and sedimentation controls, placing FDOT certified limerock materials, sodding and providing maintenance of traffic during construction. Temporary pavement markings shall be placed with new asphalt. Final thermoplastic markings shall be installed on cured asphalt after county approval. It will be the Vendor/Contractor’s responsibility to provide Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plan at the pre-construction meeting. Sodding, including watering of the road shoulders and swales is required on all disturbed areas or as directed by the County.
