Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. It is the intent of this solicitation to engage one or more qualified consultants to provide Third Party Administration of healthcare services not provided for at the Osceola County Corrections Facility and to secure competitive proposals for comprehensive off-site medical services as well as review, adjudicate and process payment in an accurate and efficient manner. 2. The County is seeking to contract with an organization to provide the County’s inmate population with certain health care not provided at the Osceola County Corrections Facility to include: a) Contracts assuring prompt access to outpatient medical care and related services from a comprehensive network of specialist physicians, hospitals, and ancillary services providers in Osceola County. b) Assertive negotiation of competitive provider reimbursement rates. c) Accurate and timely claims adjudication and payment to in-network and out-of-network medical care providers. d) Enhanced reporting, analysis, and forecasting of inmate healthcare.
