Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The CONTRACTOR will assess personal, emotional, marital, family, financial, or legal problem of referred students. Counseling services will not include family members. The CONTRACTOR will provide a variety of methods to perform counseling services to include but not limited to face-to-face meetings, online resource services and conference telephone calls. 2. The CONTRACTOR must provide a three (3) session model per student. 3. The CONTRACTOR will be available to provide counseling services to students twentyfour hours, seven days per week, three hundred sixty-five days per year (24/7/365) via telephone. The CONTRACTOR will be responsible for providing services for triage calls. 4. The CONTRACTOR will be responsible for communicating with the College Care Team during the college’s operating hours, Monday through Friday between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm during the Fall and Spring semesters and Monday through Thursday between 7:00am and 5:00pm during the Summer Term. 5. The CONTRACTOR will provide brief, short-term counseling by CONTRACTOR’s company or refer students to an appropriate health care provider, counselor or other resources/community resources to resolve presenting problem. 6. The CONTRACTOR will provide employees or independent contractors who are either mental health counselors, clinical social workers, marriage and family counselors, clinical psychologists, or other Master’s level behavioral professionals as appropriate (all with appropriate state professional license). 7. The CONTRACTOR will maintain adequate business records documenting services provided to referred students. 8. The CONTRACTOR will provide quarterly, statistical reports which include: total number of students referred, number of students seen, students referred by issue (presenting and secondary), student demographic information (gender and age), number of referrals out, severity of presenting issue, and the number of triage calls that required referral to face-toface. 9. The CONTRACTOR will provide access to students with disabilities as needed – particularly deaf/hard of hearing population 10. The CONTRACT will abide by HIPPA laws and confidentiality measures. The CONTRACTOR will provide status report to the College’s CARE Team to ensure to ensure the student attended a session and whether or not he/she was referred to outside counselor. 11. The CONTRACTOR will provide marketing materials for all campuses in different modalities. The CONTRACTOR will be responsible for providing the College marketing material for students and not the faculty. Historically, the College will request materials at the beginning of the Fall semester and thereafter on an as needed basis. 12. The CONTRACTOR will provide consultation services to the College CARE Team to confer on appropriate protocol, i.e., Baker Act situation. 13. The CONTRACTOR will not be responsible for participating on the Threat Assessment Team.
